Meta
As a Technical Writer at Facebook, I worked on the Open Compute Project (www.opencompute.org), a collaborative community focused on redesigning hardware technology. For bulk updates and documentation management, we leveraged REST APIs and JSON queries.
The role included creating content as well as the templates and library structure. We created three templates:
The first is a wiki that developers can use as a reference.
The second is used for online step-by-step instructions for hardware repairs.
The third is an end-user guide for a non-technical audience.
In all examples below, I created 100% of the content.
How to Provision a Switch
The wiki template we established has no controls and is a collaborative space for developers and technical writers. Note the Linux shell commands and example output. Please note that this is a website that was printed to a PDF, so the formatting of this PDF is not accurate to the actual website.
Cosigned Inventory Logistics Guide
This one-off guide was produced to explain an inventory logistics system to a non-technical audience.
